7-Day Enchanting Nepal Guided Cultural and Scenic Tour
An unforgettable journey through Nepal: spirituality, nature and adventure
I’ve just returned from an incredible trip to Nepal (August 21–29) and I’m still completely blown away! The route—Kathmandu → Pokhara → Palpa → Lumbini → Chitwan → Kathmandu—was a perfect blend of spirituality, nature, and adventure. I’d like to mention right away that the devastating flood in the mountains, which happened on August 26 during my trip, didn’t affect my itinerary at all—it was far from the affected area. From the very beginning, the organization was flawless. In Kathmandu, I was personally greeted by Sobit, the tour organizer and owner of Bold Himalaya travel company, who also served as my guide around the capital. For the rest of the journey, I was accompanied by my guide Surendra (Suren) and our driver Keshab. Suren is a great guy: he was attentive to all my wishes, took care of every little detail, and made the trip truly warm and welcoming. He effortlessly created a friendly atmosphere in a very delicate and unobtrusive way. Keshab, a quiet, attentive, and careful driver, was a real pro on those winding mountain roads—I felt completely safe and could fully enjoy the stunning views. Lumbini was a truly special place—the birthplace of Buddha. I had an additional guide there who left a deep impression on me. He was a remarkable person: a master of both Hindu and Buddhist philosophy, a yoga practitioner, a sound healer, and a hereditary shaman. I visited the exact spot where Prince Siddhartha Gautama was born, as well as the site of his palace—now only the outline of the outer perimeter remains, but even these ruins radiate incredible energy. I also explored the huge temple complex built by representatives of all Buddhist traditions from different countries. In Chitwan National Park, I experienced a real wonder: I saw the famous Nepalese rhinos up close! I was also lucky enough to spot Ganges gharials (there are fewer than a thousand left in the world), elephants, monkeys, several species of deer, and many exotic birds. I’d also like to highlight the lodge where I stayed for two days: it’s nestled in lush greenery and has a pool that I had all to myself—I knew my swimsuit would come in handy! 😊 Accommodation throughout the trip was in comfortable hotels. Considering that the tour was fully customized, the value for money is absolutely outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this amazing tour to anyone. A huge thank you to the entire Bold Himalaya team—Sobit, Suren, Keshab, and everyone who contributed to making this journey so special.

Trishuli River Rafting Day Trip from Kathmandu with Private Car
A good day out, lovely scenery. Almost work the ensuing illness haha
Great day, rapids were quite small and it was pretty chilled. Great views and over all a great day. But, we did get sick from the water... it is a tributary of the Ganges so we saw dead bodies and we are pretty sure the sewerage ended uo in the river.. would I do it again? Yes. Would I jump in and swim... probably not
