Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kathmandu. Head west on the Prithvi Highway (H1) towards Mugling. Continue on this road until you reach the junction for the Beshishahar road. Follow signs to Beshishahar, which should take about 6-7 hours. From Beshishahar, you will need to hire a 4WD vehicle or take a local bus to Soti Khola, which is the starting point for the Manaslu Circuit trek. This leg of the journey typically takes around 4-5 hours.
Public Transportation
From Kathmandu, you can take a tourist bus to Beshishahar. This journey takes approximately 6-7 hours. Once in Beshishahar, look for local jeep services that travel to Soti Khola. The jeep ride will take about 4-5 hours and costs around NPR 1000-1500 per person. Make sure to confirm the departure times as they can vary.
Trekking
Once you arrive at Soti Khola, you will start your trek toward the Manaslu Circuit. The first day's trek typically takes you to Machha Khola, which is about a 6-7 hour walk.
