If you're driving, start from any point in the Mid-Hills and head towards Kathmandu. Use the Swayambhunath Stupa as a reference point, which is about 7 km away from the Boudhanath area. From Swayambhunath, continue on the Ring Road toward Boudhanath Stupa. You'll want to follow signs for Boudha, which will lead you to the area. Once you reach Boudhanath, parking is available nearby but can fill up quickly, so plan to arrive early.
