If you are starting from Thamel, walk east on Tridevi Marg towards the intersection with the New Road. Turn left onto New Road and continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Bagmati River. From here, you can continue straight onto Pashupatinath Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will see the Pashupatinath Temple on your right. The exact location is at P86X+8C2, Kathmandu 44600.

Public Bus
From Thamel, head to the nearest bus stop on the main road. Look for buses that are heading towards Pashupatinath. The bus fare is usually very cheap (around 20 NPR). Once on the bus, stay alert for the stop near Pashupatinath Temple, which is approximately 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the temple entrance located at P86X+8C2, Kathmandu 44600.

Rickshaw
In Thamel, you can easily find a rickshaw. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it should cost around 300-500 NPR to Pashupatinath Temple. The driver will take you directly to the temple, which will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The temple is located at P86X+8C2, Kathmandu 44600.
