Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car from Jomsom, head south on the main road towards the town of Kagbeni. After approximately 4 km, look for a sign indicating Chamere Gufa (Cave of Bats). The road will branch off to the east leading directly to the cave entrance. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Parking is available near the cave entrance, but be sure to check local parking regulations.

Public Bus

From Jomsom, you can catch a local bus heading towards Kagbeni. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kagbeni, ask locals for directions to Chamere Gufa. It is about a 20-minute walk from Kagbeni to the cave. The total cost for the bus is around NPR 100-150. Be sure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently.

Trek

If you prefer a more adventurous route, consider trekking from Jomsom to Chamere Gufa. The trek is approximately 8 km and takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.
