From the main square in Nagarkot, head south towards the main road (Nagarkot - Bhaktapur Road). Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at Kathmandu Durbar Square, as the ride will take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nagarkot. Start from the main square and cycle down Nagarkot - Bhaktapur Road. Follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Bhaktapur. From Bhaktapur, you will need to navigate through the town to find a bus heading to Kathmandu. You can ask locals for directions to Kathmandu Durbar Square once you arrive in Kathmandu, or simply take a taxi from the bus stop.
