Getting There

Walking
From the center of Namche Bazaar, head towards the main trail leading out of the village. Look for the signs pointing towards Sagarmatha National Park. The path will take you through a series of stone steps as you ascend slightly out of the village. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from the center of Namche Bazaar. Once you reach the park entrance, you will need to show your TIMS card and pay the entrance fee.

Hiking
After entering the park, continue along the well-marked trails. You can choose to hike towards the Everest View Hotel for stunning views of Mount Everest, which is about 1.5 to 2 hours from the park entrance. The trail is relatively straightforward with some steep sections. Be sure to stop at the various viewpoints along the way to take in the breathtaking scenery.
