If you are traveling by car, head towards Kathmandu from wherever you are in the Narayani Zone. Follow the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Tribhuvan Highway) towards Kathmandu. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, navigate to Narayanhiti Path. You can use a GPS or a map application by entering 'Narayanhiti Path, Kathmandu 44600'. The palace is located near the center of the city, and there is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Narayanhiti Royal Palace using public transportation, take a bus from your location in Narayani Zone to Kathmandu. Several local bus services operate this route. Once you arrive at the bus park in Kathmandu, look for a microbus or a taxi to take you to Narayanhiti Path. The fare for the bus will typically range from NPR 200 to NPR 400 depending on your starting point. After reaching the bus park, a microbus or taxi to the palace area will cost an additional NPR 100 to NPR 300.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi to take you from any location in Narayani Zone directly to Narayanhiti Royal Palace. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey; it may cost anywhere from NPR 2000 to NPR 4000 depending on your starting point. The taxi will take you right to the entrance of the palace.
Walking (from nearby locations)
