From the Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road. As you exit the square, turn left onto the road and continue walking until you reach the intersection. Here, you will see a sign pointing towards Bhaktapur. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the large gate that marks the entrance to Bhaktapur. Continue through this gate into Bhaktapur city. Once inside, follow the signs towards Mako Galli. The Dattatraya Temple is located in Mako Galli, which is a short walk from the entrance. Look for the temple's distinctive architecture as you approach.
