Getting There

    From the central part of Patan, head north towards the Patan Durbar Square. Exit the square and walk straight to the main road (Lalitpur Road), turning left. Continue walking along the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Budhanilkantha area. Look for signs directing you towards Kopan Monastery, which is located up a small hill on the right side. The entrance will be clearly marked.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one in the Patan area. Begin your journey from Patan Durbar Square and cycle north along Lalitpur Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will arrive at Budhanilkantha. Keep an eye out for signage indicating Kopan Monastery, which is situated on a hill. There are bike parking spots available near the entrance.
