Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Patan (Durbar Square), head north towards Pulchowk. Continue straight on the road until you reach the main intersection. Take a right turn towards the Patan Hospital road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Nagarkot Dandagoan Highway. Take the left onto the highway and walk along it for approximately 3 kilometers. You will see signs for Nagarkot. As you approach, keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail. The trailhead is located on the right side of the highway, and you will see a small entrance marked for the trail.

• Public Transport (Local Bus)

  From Patan Durbar Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at Lagankhel. Catch a local bus heading to Bhaktapur or Nagarkot. Ensure to ask the conductor to drop you off at the Nagarkot Dandagoan Highway junction. Once you arrive at the junction, follow the highway on foot for about 1 kilometer. Look for the signs indicating the start of the Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail on your right.

  If you prefer a quicker option, you can book a local taxi or use a ride-sharing app. Enter 'Nagarkot Panoramic Hiking Trail' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the trail entrance on Nagarkot Dandagoan Highway. Once you arrive, you will see the trailhead and can begin your hike enjoying the spectacular views.
