From the Patan Durbar Square, head northeast towards the main road. When you reach the main road, turn right and walk straight for about 10-15 minutes. Look out for signs for Bhaktapur. You will pass by several shops and local eateries along the way. Continue on this road until you reach a bus stop. There, you can catch a local bus heading to Bhaktapur. Once on the bus, inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Taumadhi Square. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes.

At the Patan Durbar Square, find the nearest bus stop. Look for a bus that has 'Bhaktapur' displayed on its front. Board the bus and pay the fare (usually a small amount). Remain on the bus for about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bhaktapur, get off at the Bhaktapur bus park. From there, Taumadhi Square is a short 10-minute walk. Head straight from the bus park, and take the first left to reach the square.
