Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Patan Durbar Square, head east towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction at Mangal Bazaar. At the junction, turn right onto Mangal Bazaar Street. Continue walking straight for another 5 minutes. You will see the Vishwanath Temple on your left, identifiable by its ornate architecture and the presence of local worshippers.

    From the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), exit the temple area and head south towards the main road. Once on the main road, turn left and walk along the street for about 15 minutes. You will pass by various shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach Mangal Bazaar. At the bazaar, take a right and walk for about 5 minutes. The Vishwanath Temple will be on your left-hand side.

    If you are near the Mahabouddha Temple, exit the temple grounds and head north towards the main road. When you reach the main road, turn left and walk for approximately 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the Mangal Bazaar area. At the bazaar, turn right and continue straight for another 5 minutes. The Vishwanath Temple will be clearly visible on your left.
