If you are in Thamel, start at the main street (Tridevi Marg) and head south towards the Kathmandu Durbar Square. You can take a left onto the narrow roads leading to the Square. Walk through the Square and continue south towards Patan. This will take you about 30-40 minutes on foot. Once you reach the main road (Lalitpur), continue walking until you reach the entrance of Patan Durbar Square. The Patan Museum is located inside the square, near the entrance.
