Car
If you're driving to Bhadrakali Temple from Lakeside Pokhara, start by heading east on the Mahendra Highway (Prithvi Highway). Continue for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Matepani area. Look for the sign towards Bhadrakali Temple. Turn left onto the road leading up to the temple. The temple will be on your left after approximately 1 kilometer. There is no designated parking area, but you can park along the side of the road.
Public Bus
To reach Bhadrakali Temple using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Lakeside Pokhara. Look for a bus heading towards Matepani. The fare is typically around NPR 30-50 (approximately $0.25-$0.50). Once you arrive at the Matepani stop, get off and walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the temple, which will be on your left. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you at the nearest stop to Bhadrakali Temple.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Pokhara. The taxi fare to Bhadrakali Temple from Lakeside typically costs around NPR 500-800 (about $4-$7). The driver will take you directly to the temple entrance, making your journey comfortable and hassle-free.
Walking
If you are in the vicinity of Matepani and prefer to walk, you can reach Bhadrakali Temple on foot. Starting from the Matepani bus stop, head north on the main road. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the temple on your left. The walk is pleasant and offers a great view of the surrounding area.
