Start from the Lakeside area in Pokhara, where most tourists stay. Head south on the main road (Lakeside Road) until you reach the intersection with the Siddhartha Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Baglung Highway). Turn left onto Siddhartha Highway, and continue walking for about 30 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Hemja and Sapkotachowk. After reaching the Hemja area, look for signs directing you to Kalika Temple. You may need to ask locals for directions as you get closer, as the temple is located on a hill. The final stretch involves a steep climb up steps leading to the temple, which is perched on a hill offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

From Lakeside, walk to the nearest bus station (usually located near the main road). Look for a local bus heading toward Hemja. The bus ride may take about 20-30 minutes, and you will get off at the Hemja stop. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Kalika Temple or ask locals for directions. The final part of the journey involves a steep climb on foot, so be prepared for a bit of a hike up to the temple.
