Private Car
If you are traveling by private car, start your journey from any location in the Western Development Region towards Pokhara. Once you reach Pokhara, navigate to the Sedibagar area. From the Lakeside area, drive towards the north on the Prithvi Highway. After about 4 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to the Annapurna Cable Car. There are clear signboards along the way. The cable car station is located on the right side of the road. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a small parking fee.
Public Bus
For those using public transportation, board a bus from your location in the Western Development Region to Pokhara. Buses frequently depart from major towns such as Baglung, Besisahar, and Jomsom. Once you arrive at the Pokhara bus station, you can take a local taxi or a microbus to the Sedibagar area. The taxi ride will cost approximately NPR 300-500. Inform the driver to take you to the Annapurna Cable Car station. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes.
Local Taxi
If you prefer more direct transport, you can hire a local taxi from anywhere in Pokhara. Ensure to agree on the fare beforehand, which should range from NPR 300 to NPR 600 depending on your pick-up location. The taxi will take you directly to the Annapurna Cable Car station in the Sedibagar area. The journey typically takes around 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking from Lakeside
For those staying in the Lakeside area of Pokhara, you can opt to walk to the cable car station. It is approximately a 4-5 km walk. Head north from Lakeside along the main road towards the Prithvi Highway, then follow the signs to the Annapurna Cable Car station. This should take you about 1 hour. Be prepared for some uphill walking as you approach the cable car station.
