Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from central Pokhara, head towards the Lakeside area and follow the road that runs alongside Phewa Lake. Continue on this road until you reach the 'Pokhara Thamel' area. From there, look for signs pointing towards Sarangkot, as Lovely Hill is located near this popular viewpoint. Drive up the winding road for about 15-20 minutes, and you will reach a small parking area close to Lovely Hill. Be aware that parking may be limited, so it's advisable to arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Lovely Hill by public transportation, you can take a local bus from the main bus station in Pokhara (located near the tourist area). Look for buses heading towards Sarangkot, as they will take you close to Lovely Hill. The bus ride will cost around NPR 30-50 and takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic. After you get off at the Sarangkot stop, you will need to either walk for about 10-15 minutes uphill or hire a local taxi to take you directly to Lovely Hill.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  For a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi or use a ride-sharing app (if available) from your location in Pokhara. The taxi ride should cost between NPR 800-1200 depending on your starting point and will take approximately 20-30 minutes. • Walking

  If you are in the nearby Sarangkot area, you can walk to Lovely Hill. The walk will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Follow the signs towards Lovely Hill and enjoy the scenic views as you ascend. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be steep in places.
