Getting There

• Car

  If you are travelling by car, start your journey from Pokhara, which is a major city in the Western Development Region. Head out of Pokhara on the Prithvi Highway (also known as the Pokhara-Kathmandu Highway) towards the east. After approximately 8 kilometers, take the exit towards Lumle and follow the road signs leading to Naya Gaun. Continue along the winding road for about 10 kilometers. You will notice the beautiful landscape around you. The resort is located at latitude 28.2420202 and longitude 83.9456843, so keep an eye on your GPS or navigation app. Upon reaching Naya Gaun, look for the entrance to the Naya Gaun Eco Resort, which is well-marked.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those opting for public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the Pokhara bus station. Look for buses heading to Lumle or nearby villages. The fare should be around NPR 50-100 (Nepalese Rupees) per person. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Lumle. From Lumle, you can either hire a local taxi or walk approximately 3 kilometers to Naya Gaun Eco Resort. Taxis generally charge around NPR 300-500 for the short trip. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Pokhara to Naya Gaun Eco Resort. The taxi ride will take about 30 minutes and will cost around NPR 1,200-1,500. The driver will be familiar with the route, and you can relax while enjoying the picturesque scenery along the way. It is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand or agree on a metered fare if possible.
