Walking
If you are in Lakeside, Pokhara, start at the main street (Lakeside Road) where many shops and restaurants are located. Head east on the main road towards the Tourist Bus Park. When you reach the bus park, continue straight until you see the sign for Lamachaur Road. Turn left onto Lamachaur Road and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the Gurkha Memorial Museum, which will be on your right side at 6XWQ+FCW, Lamachaur Rd. The museum is clearly marked, and there is a small entrance before the main building.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Lakeside. Start your ride on Lakeside Road heading east towards the Tourist Bus Park. Continue straight through the bus park and onto Lamachaur Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, look for the Gurkha Memorial Museum on your right. There are bike racks in front of the museum where you can securely park your bicycle.
Public Transport (Local Bus)
From Lakeside, find a local bus heading towards the main bus terminal. You can catch the bus near the Tourist Bus Park. Inform the conductor that you are heading to Lamachaur. The bus will drop you off near the Lamachaur area. From the drop-off point, walk about 500 meters along Lamachaur Road, and you will see the Gurkha Memorial Museum on your right side.
