Getting There

• Walking

  From the lakeside area of Phewa Lake, head towards the north along the lakeshore. You will pass several restaurants and shops. Continue walking until you reach the base of the hill leading to the Phewa Lake View Point. The hike up the hill is steep, so wear comfortable shoes. The path is well-marked and you will see signs pointing towards the view point. The walk will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along the lakeside. Cycle north following the same route towards the hill. There are designated bike paths that will make your ride easier. Once you reach the base of the hill, you will need to lock your bicycle at the designated area and continue the ascent on foot. The cycling part will take about 20 minutes, followed by a 20-30 minute hike up the hill.

  For a more informative experience, consider hiring a local guide. You can find guides at the lakeside or through your hotel. They will help you navigate the path and share insights about the area. Guided tours typically cost around 1000-2000 NPR (Nepalese Rupees) depending on the duration and group size.
