Car
If you are traveling by car, you can start your journey from Biratnagar. Drive towards the east on the Mahendra Highway (H12) for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Dharan. From Dharan, take the road towards Tandi, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Once you reach Tandi, follow the signs for Chuli Pokhari. You may need to use a local map or GPS for the last few kilometers as the roads can be narrow and winding. Parking is available at the base of the hiking trail leading to Chuli Pokhari.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Biratnagar to Dharan. Buses leave frequently and the fare is relatively inexpensive, usually around NPR 150-200. Once you arrive in Dharan, you can either hire a local taxi or find a shared jeep heading towards Tandi. The jeep ride should cost around NPR 100-150 per person. Upon reaching Tandi, you can either walk or hire a local guide for a short hike (about 1 hour) to reach Chuli Pokhari. The hiking path may require hiring a local guide, which can cost around NPR 1000-1500 depending on the negotiation.
