Car

If you are driving a car from Biratnagar, take the Koshi Highway (also known as the East-West Highway) towards the east. Continue on this road for approximately 45 km until you reach the town of Dhankuta. From Dhankuta, follow the signs to Simana Basti. The final stretch involves a winding road, so drive carefully. As you approach Simana Basti, look for the signs directing you to Simana View Point. You will arrive at the viewpoint located at the coordinates 26.9827399, 88.132508. Make sure to check your GPS for precise navigation.

Public Transportation

Begin your journey by taking a bus from Biratnagar to Dhankuta. Buses run frequently from the Biratnagar bus station, and the ticket price is typically around NPR 150-250. The bus ride takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Dhankuta, you can hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to take you to Simana Basti, which is about 20 km away. Ensure you negotiate the fare before starting the ride; it should cost around NPR 800-1200 for a taxi.

Hiking

If you are feeling adventurous, you can hike to Simana View Point from Simana Basti. The hike is approximately 3 km and takes about an hour. Follow the trail that begins at the edge of the village.
