Follow the signs towards Taplejung. The road is well-maintained but be prepared for some winding and steep sections as you approach the district. Once in Taplejung, ask locals for directions to Lelep, where the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area is located, approximately 40 km from the town center.

Catch a bus from Biratnagar to Taplejung. Buses leave from the Biratnagar bus station, and the journey takes about 10-12 hours depending on road conditions.
