To reach Rara National Park via public transportation, you can take a local bus or jeep from the Rara Lake area to the nearest town, which is Talcha. Buses leave from the main bus station in Rara Lake. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Talcha, you can either hike to the park entrance or arrange a local jeep to take you there. The jeep ride from Talcha to the park entrance will cost around NPR 500-1000 (approximately $5-10).
