Car
Start your journey from Namche Bazaar. Take the main road leading out of Namche, heading towards the Everest Base Camp Trekking route. Follow the signs for Everest View Point. The drive will take you through beautiful terraced fields and will offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The distance from Namche Bazaar to Everest View Point is about 6 kilometers, which will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on road conditions. Please note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended due to rough terrain.
Public Transportation
From Namche Bazaar, you can take a local jeep or shared taxi heading towards Everest View Point. These services are available at the main taxi stand in Namche. The fare is typically around NPR 100-200 per person. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure to confirm the destination with the driver before boarding.
Trekking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can trek from Namche Bazaar to Everest View Point. The trek is quite popular and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. Start from the Namche Bazaar main square and follow the well-marked trail leading up towards the viewpoint. The path is moderately steep, so wear comfortable trekking shoes. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful pine forests and have the chance to enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas.
