special thanks to rabin, veer, tulraj rai and chitij rai for an amazing ebc trek. veer was a guide who made the trek so fun & answered all our silly questions. he made it feel like hiking with a friend, but he also cared more than our safety than ourselves. rabin was hospitable and took such good care of us before and after the hike. tulraj and chitij were such efficient porters. when one of us had to get an emergency helicopter evacuation, all of them worked as quickly as they could to get us to safety. my friend was hospitalised and recovered well after. this is my 2nd trek with them, 11/10 would recommend if you are doing any trek in nepal.

‎the best travel choice I ever made was to hike to everest base camp. pradip handled everything with ease including travel and lodging.krishna our guide was well-versed in the area, told tales about sherpa culture, and kept a constant eye on our well-being. the trek moved at the ideal speed, allowing plenty time for acclimatization without feeling hurried. our suitcases were carried by the porters with amazing power, and they always smiled when they saw us. I valued the team's efforts to make sure we were comfortable every time. It was a fun, safe and well-planned excursion. I would gladly go trekking with them once more....

Our best Journey all Time

Our Everest Base Camp trek in June was a lifelong dream come true. Though it was early monsoon and off-season, the weather was kind, and with fewer trekkers, we enjoyed the peaceful trails. We flew both ways, and despite some worry about flight delays, everything was smoothly arranged by Mr. Prashant Nepal and the amazing Sole Encounters Adventures team. At EBC, I felt the effects of altitude, but our guides, Pramila Rai and Sakti Shrestha, acted quickly. We didn’t stay overnight at Gorakshep they took us down the same day to lower altitude, about 400m descent, where I started to feel better. It was a long day, but it truly saved my life. Traveling with my husband, we felt completely safe with such a caring and professional team. This journey was unforgettable, and we’re deeply thankful to Sole Encounters for making it happen.
