If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Dhangadhi. Head towards the East on the Mahendra Highway (H08) for about 12 km until you reach the junction for Shuklaphanta National Park. Turn left onto the road (V743) that leads directly to the park entrance. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the park entrance from Dhangadhi, depending on traffic conditions. There might be a small entry fee for vehicles, so keep some cash handy.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a local bus or microbus from Dhangadhi to the town of Bhajani or Shuklaphanta. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Dhangadhi. The journey should take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Bhajani, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you the final 5 km to the park entrance. The taxi fare may cost around NPR 300-500.

If you prefer to walk from Bhajani after arriving by bus, it is about a 1.5-hour walk to the park entrance. Follow the main road (V743) heading towards the park. Make sure to carry enough water and wear appropriate footwear, as the route can be dusty and uneven.
