Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from a major city in Sudurpashchim Province, such as Dhangadhi or Mahendranagar. Drive towards Dailekh on the Karnali Highway (also known as the Mahendra Highway). Once you reach the turnoff for Dailekh, follow the signs leading to Duneshwor Khola Bridge. The bridge is located along Dailekh Sadak, and Mathillo Dungeshwor is just beyond this bridge. Parking may be available near the bridge area.

• Public Bus

  To travel by public bus, head to the main bus station in your current city, such as Dhangadhi. Look for buses that are heading towards Dailekh. The journey may take several hours depending on road conditions, so be prepared for a long trip. Once you arrive at Dailekh, ask locals or bus conductors for directions to Duneshwor Khola bridge. From the bus drop-off point, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the bridge and Mathillo Dungeshwor.

• Local Taxi

  If you prefer a more comfortable option after arriving in Dailekh, you can hire a local taxi. Taxis can be found at the bus station or can be arranged via your hotel. Inform the driver that you want to go to Duneshwor Khola bridge. The fare may vary, so it is advisable to negotiate the price beforehand. The taxi will take you directly to the bridge, which is very close to Mathillo Dungeshwor.
