If you are driving, start from Jomsom, the main entry point to Upper Mustang. From Jomsom, head northeast towards Kagbeni on the well-maintained road (around 10 km). After reaching Kagbeni, continue towards the village of Bhraka, which is about 12 km further along the same road. The route is scenic and offers views of the Kali Gandaki River. Once you arrive at Bhraka, look for local signs directing you to Khicho Ice Lake. The lake is approximately 3 km from Bhraka, and you may need to park your car and walk the rest of the way.

Public Transportation
From Jomsom, take a local jeep or bus heading towards Kagbeni. This journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around 200 NPR. Once you arrive in Kagbeni, you can find shared jeeps to Bhraka. The fare for the jeep to Bhraka is approximately 150 NPR and takes about 30 minutes. After reaching Bhraka, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Khicho Ice Lake, which is about 3 km away. Expect to walk this distance as there are no public transport options available for the final stretch.
