• Car

  If you are driving from any location within the Western Development Region, head towards Pokhara. Follow the Prithvi Highway (Route 1) that connects Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once you arrive in Pokhara, look for the signs that direct you towards Lakeside, which is a popular tourist area. As you enter Lakeside, turn onto Thado Pasal Path.   To reach Gurkha Lodge via public transportation, you can take a long-distance bus from various cities in the Western Development Region to Pokhara. Buses frequently depart from major cities like Baglung, Besisahar, and Jomsom. Once you arrive at the Pokhara Bus Park, exit the bus and head towards Lakeside. From the bus park, you may either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local taxi or rickshaw directly to Thado Pasal Path. Taxis should cost around NPR 300-500, depending on your negotiation skills, and the ride takes about 10 minutes.

• Public Transportation - Local Taxi/Rickshaw

  If you are already in Pokhara and prefer a local taxi or rickshaw, simply hail one from your location. Provide the driver with the address 'Thado Pasal Path, Pokhara 33700' or show them the location on your phone. The fare for a rickshaw should be around NPR 150-300, while a taxi may charge approximately NPR 300-500 depending on traffic and distance. The journey should take about 10 minutes from most areas in Pokhara.
