Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from anywhere in the Western Development Region to Hotel Peace Stupa in Pokhara, follow the Prithvi Highway (Highway 1) towards Pokhara. Once you enter the city, follow the signs for Lakeside and then take a left onto Durbar Marg. Continue straight, and you will find Hotel Peace Stupa on your right. The drive usually takes around 2-3 hours depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transportation, catch a local bus heading to Pokhara from your location in the Western Development Region. Buses frequently depart from major towns like Baglung or Besisahar. The bus fare typically ranges from NPR 300 to NPR 700 depending on your start point. Upon arriving at the Pokhara bus station, you can take a taxi or a rickshaw to Hotel Peace Stupa. It's about a 15-minute drive from the bus station. Simply tell the driver 'Durbar Marg' and they will take you directly to your destination.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in the Western Development Region to Hotel Peace Stupa. Taxis are available in most towns and can be hired for a set fare. Expect to pay around NPR 3000 to NPR 5000 for a taxi ride from nearby towns like Baglung or Besisahar directly to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara, direct the driver to Durbar Marg, where the hotel is located.

• Motorbike Rental

  For the more adventurous traveler, renting a motorbike in Pokhara is an excellent option. Several rental shops are available in Lakeside. The cost is typically around NPR 1000 per day. Drive along the Prithvi Highway and follow the previous directions to reach Hotel Peace Stupa on Durbar Marg. Ensure you have a valid driving license and wear a helmet while riding.
