Follow the signs to the bus station, and take bus line 1, 5, or 7 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the Amsterdam Central Station stop. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, walk to the bus terminal nearby and take bus line 12 or tram line 14 towards Plantage Middenlaan. Alight at the 'Hortus Botanicus' stop, which is just a short walk from the entrance of the botanical garden at Plantage Middenlaan 2a.

The journey is approximately 50 km and will take you through beautiful Dutch countryside.
