From Amersfoort train station, head to the bus terminal located next to the station. Take bus line 105 towards Gouda. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Gouda, Markt' stop. From there, walk towards the northeast on Markt until you reach Oosthaven. The Museum Gouda will be on your right at Oosthaven 9.
Train
From Amersfoort train station, board a train heading towards Utrecht. Transfer at Utrecht Central Station to a train bound for Gouda. The total travel time is about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Gouda station, exit the station and walk 15 minutes to the museum. Head southwest on Stationsplein, turn left onto Burgemeester van Reenensingel, then right onto Oosthaven. The museum will be located at Oosthaven 9.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Amersfoort and take the designated bike paths towards Gouda. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the signs that direct you towards the N201, then continue on local cycling paths leading to Gouda. Upon reaching Gouda, navigate to Oosthaven by following the signs to the city center where the museum is located at Oosthaven 9.
Walking
Walking from Amersfoort to Gouda is quite ambitious as it is approximately 20 kilometers away. However, if you wish to walk, head towards the N201 road and follow the path signs towards Gouda. It will take roughly 4-5 hours depending on your walking speed. Once you arrive in Gouda, navigate to the city center and find Oosthaven where the museum is located at number 9.
