If you are in the center of Amersfoort, start by heading towards the Amersfoort train station (Amersfoort Centraal). From the station, exit onto Stationsplein and turn left onto the main road (Zijdeweg). Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Barchman Wuytierslaan. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Here, take the second exit onto Leusderweg. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer, and then follow the signs to the bus station. Once at the bus station, take bus line 70 towards Gouda. After about 20 minutes, disembark at 'Gouda, Oosthaven'. The Slijterij en Bierwinkel Den Gouwen Aar is located at Oosthaven 6, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Amersfoort. Start at the city center and head towards the train station (Amersfoort Centraal). From the station, exit onto Stationsplein, and take the bike path along Zijdeweg. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Leusderweg. Follow this road for another kilometer until you see signs for Gouda. The cycling route is well-marked, and you’ll arrive at Gouda in approximately 30 minutes.
