This bus will take you to Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. Once at Sloterdijk, transfer to train line Intercity (IC) towards 'Leiden' and get off at 'Hoorn'. After that, switch to bus line 110 heading to 'Volendam'. Get off at the stop 'Volendam, Slobbeland'. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop; follow Slobbeland street, and you will see the museum on your right at Slobbeland 19.
Train and Bus
Begin your journey at Amersfoort Central Station. Board a train towards 'Amsterdam Central'. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Amsterdam Central Station'. From there, walk to the bus terminal adjacent to the train station and take bus line 110 towards 'Volendam'. This bus will take you directly to Volendam. Once you arrive at the 'Volendam, Slobbeland' stop, the Palingsound Museum is just a short walk away at Slobbeland 19.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Amersfoort. Start by heading west towards the 'Nijkerk' route which connects to the 'Flevoland' cycling paths. Follow the signs towards 'Volendam' via the scenic route along the lakes. This journey is about 30 kilometers and will take you through beautiful Dutch landscapes. Upon reaching Volendam, navigate to Slobbeland street, where you will find the museum at Slobbeland 19.
