If you’re in the city center of Amersfoort, start at the main square, the 'Hof'. From there, head east towards the 'Langegracht' street. Continue straight until you reach 'Breestraat'. Turn left onto 'Breestraat' and walk until you reach the intersection with 'Zwarteweg'. Cross over to 'Zwarteweg' and continue straight until you reach the train station. From the train station, you can take a train to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head southeast towards 'Damrak'. Continue straight on 'Damrak' until you reach 'Dam Square'. From 'Dam Square', head west towards 'Singel' street. Walk along 'Singel' until you reach number 449, where the Torture Museum is located.
Public Transport
To reach the Torture Museum from Amersfoort, head to the Amersfoort train station. Purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the 'Damrak' area. Follow 'Damrak' until you reach 'Dam Square'. From 'Dam Square', turn left onto 'Singel' street and walk for about 10 minutes. The Torture Museum will be on your left at Singel 449.
