If you are near Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 12 (towards Amstelstation) or tram line 1 (towards Osdorp Dijkgraafplein). Get off at the 'Keizersgracht' stop. From there, walk along the Keizersgracht canal towards the south. When you reach the intersection with the Prinsengracht canal, turn left and walk for about 5 minutes until you reach Prinsengracht 488, the Amsterdam Pipe Museum.

From any location in Amsterdam, locate a nearby bus stop that connects to bus line 170 or 172. Ride the bus towards 'Amsterdam, Amstelstation' and get off at the 'Zuid' station. From Zuid, walk along the Van der Helstplein and turn left onto the Van Woustraat. Continue to walk until you reach Prinsengracht. Turn right onto Prinsengracht and walk for approximately 10 minutes until you see the Amsterdam Pipe Museum at number 488.

From the Rijksmuseum, walk south on the Stadhouderskade until you reach the intersection with the Prinsengracht canal. Turn left onto Prinsengracht and continue walking for about 15 minutes.
