Train
If you are in Amsterdam, head to Amsterdam Central Station. From there, take a train to Leiden. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop outside. You can take bus line 1 or 5 towards 'Leiden, Molen de Valk' and get off at 'Leiden, Rapenburg'. Walk straight for about 5 minutes along Rapenburg Street, and you will find the Japan Museum SieboldHuis at Rapenburg 19.
Bus
From Amsterdam, take bus line 197 from 'Amsterdam, Sloterdijk' bus station towards 'Schiphol Airport'. At Schiphol, transfer to bus line 361 to 'Leiden, Molen de Valk'. Get off at 'Leiden, Rapenburg'. The museum is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east along Rapenburg Street, and you will find the Japan Museum SieboldHuis at Rapenburg 19.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike in Amsterdam. Head south towards Amstelveenseweg and follow the signs for the A4 highway. Cycle along the designated bike path towards Leiden. The journey is approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you reach Leiden, follow the signs to the city center and continue to Rapenburg Street. The Japan Museum SieboldHuis is located at number 19.
Walking
If you're already in Leiden, you can easily walk to the Japan Museum SieboldHuis. Start from the city center near the 'Leiden Market'. Head north on 'Garenmarkt', turn left onto 'Breestraat', and continue straight until you reach 'Rapenburg'. The museum is located at Rapenburg 19, a short 10-minute walk from the market.
