Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head towards the front entrance. Walk straight ahead (south) towards the IJ river. You will see a large square in front of you. Continue walking along the water's edge for about 10 minutes until you reach the NEMO Science Museum, which is located at Oosterdok 2. The museum has a distinctive green rooftop that resembles a ship.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Amsterdam Centraal Station, catch tram line 26 (towards Noord) or tram line 5 (towards Amstelveen). Get off at the 'Waterlooplein' stop. From there, walk towards the east along the Waterlooplein street until it turns into the Oosterdokskade. Continue walking for about 10 minutes and you will reach NEMO Science Museum on your right at Oosterdok 2.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Take bus line 22 from Amsterdam Centraal Station (the bus stop is just outside the station). Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Korte Prinsengracht'. Walk along the Korte Prinsengracht street towards the east until you reach the Oosterdokskade. NEMO Science Museum will be on your left at Oosterdok 2.
