Walking
If you are in the heart of Amsterdam, start at the Dam Square, which is a central landmark. From Dam Square, head south on Damstraat, then take a left onto Rokin. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the Muntplein. At Muntplein, turn right onto the Amstelstraat and cross the bridge. After crossing, turn left onto the Reguliersbreestraat and continue straight. You will reach the Spui square. Oudemanhuispoort is located just a short walk from Spui, on the left side past the Spui book market. Look for the entrance that leads to the courtyard of the University of Amsterdam.

If you prefer taking public transport, head to the nearest tram stop to your location. Board tram line 1, 2, or 5 towards the direction of the Central Station. Get off at the Spui stop. Once you exit the tram, Oudemanhuispoort is a short walk away. Head towards the Spui square and follow the previous walking directions from the Spui square to Oudemanhuispoort.
