Enjoyable cruise
Very friendly and personable crew and captain. Many stories of Amsterdam past and present, told in a really engaging way. We had booked the canal cruise on one of the few occasions that week whereby it actually rained so being undercover was actually a benefit. Many of the other (more expensive) tours were uncovered and sheltering under bridges and / or umbrellas! The rain did however obscure some of the views from the canal. Limited number of refreshments on the tour, so bring whatever you need along. The tour starts from the opposite side of the river to central Amsterdam and the station, so please leave a bit of time to actually get there. It's free and quick to cross the river but don't leave it late to arrive.
