If you are in the city center, head towards the canals. From Dam Square, walk south down Kalverstraat, which turns into Rembrandtplein. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Utrechtsestraat. Turn right onto Utrechtsestraat, and walk straight until you reach the Prinsengracht canal. Turn left onto Prinsengracht and you will find beautiful views and charming houseboats lining the canal.

From Amsterdam Central Station, board tram line 13 or 17. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Westermarkt' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk towards the Prinsengracht canal, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. Head south on Prinsengracht, and you will start to see the picturesque views of the canal.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops around the city. Start your ride from Amsterdam Central Station, and head south towards the Singel canal.
