Tram
To reach the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, locate the nearest tram stop. If you are at Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 2. The tram will take you directly to Museumplein. Once you arrive at the Museumplein stop, you will see the Stedelijk Museum directly in front of you. The journey takes about 20 minutes.
Bus
If you're near the Leidseplein area, you can take bus line 197 towards Schiphol Airport. Get off at the stop 'Museumplein'. From there, the Stedelijk Museum is just a short walk away. Follow the signs towards the museum, and you’ll find it easily. The bus ride is approximately 10-15 minutes.
Bike
Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Amsterdam. From the city center, head towards the Vondelpark and then towards Museumplein. It's about a 15-minute bike ride. Once you reach Museumplein, park your bike in the designated bike parking areas near the museum entrance.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, walking to the Stedelijk Museum is a pleasant option. From the Rijksmuseum, it’s just a 5-minute walk. Head towards the south side of the museum, and you will see the Stedelijk Museum on your left at Museumplein 10. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings as you stroll through the square.
