If you are in the heart of Amsterdam Centrum, the NEMO Science Museum is approximately a 15-minute walk away. Start by heading east towards the Damstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Waterlooplein. Turn left onto Waterlooplein and continue straight. After crossing the bridge over the Amstel River, keep walking until you see the large NEMO building, which resembles a ship, on your left at Oosterdok 2.

From the central location in Centrum, you can take tram line 26 towards 'Noorderpark'. Board the tram at the 'Dam' stop, which is a short walk from most central locations. The tram ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Amsterdam, NEMO' stop, which is right in front of the museum. A single ticket costs around €3.20, which you can purchase from the tram driver or at ticket machines.

Alternatively, you can take bus line 43 from the 'Dam' bus stop. Board the bus towards 'Amsterdam, Duivendrecht' and get off at the 'Amsterdam, NEMO' stop. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. The bus fare is also around €3.20, and tickets are available at the bus station or from the driver.
