Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the front entrance. Once outside, turn right and follow the path along the water. Continue straight until you reach the first major intersection. Cross the street towards the Damstraat and continue walking straight. You will see a large square ahead; this is Dam Square.

  • Tram

    From Amsterdam Central Station, walk to the tram stop located just outside the main entrance. Take tram number 4, 14, or 24. These trams are headed towards 'Zuid' or 'Korte Prinsengracht.' Ride for 2 stops and get off at 'Dam.' Follow the signs to Dam Square, which is just a short walk from the tram stop.

  • Bicycle

    If you are near the Vondelpark, head towards the city center by following the signs for 'Centrum.' Once you reach the main road, take a left onto the Leidsestraat and continue straight until you reach the Muntplein. Turn right onto the Amstel and then follow the road straight until you reach the big square; this is Dam Square.

  • Metro

    From the nearest metro station, take line 52 (North-South line) and get off at 'Rokin' station. Exit the station and walk towards the exit marked 'Dam Square.' As you exit, walk straight ahead, and you will reach Dam Square in just a few minutes.
