If you're near Amsterdam Centraal Station, take Tram 4, 14, or 24. Board the tram heading towards 'Dam' and get off at the 'Dam' stop. The Royal Palace Amsterdam is just a short walk away. Exit the tram and head towards the large square, Dam Square. The palace will be directly in front of you.
