Car
If you're driving from the center of Bollenstreek, head north towards the A4 motorway. Merge onto the A4 towards Amsterdam. After about 30 minutes, take exit 1 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Follow signs for the S112 road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Amstel River. Turn right onto the Amstel, then take the first left onto the Weesperzijde. Follow this road until you reach the Scharrebiersluis at 1018 AB Amsterdam, which will be on your left.
Public Transportation
To reach Scharrebiersluis by public transport, take a train from Bollenstreek to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and take tram line 4 towards the Zandhoek. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the 'Muntplein' stop. From there, walk south along the Amstel River for about 10 minutes until you reach Scharrebiersluis at 1018 AB Amsterdam.
