Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Huisduinen. From the A7 motorway, take the exit towards Den Helder (N250). Continue on the N250 and follow signs for Huisduinen. Once in Huisduinen, follow the signs for Fort Kijkduin. The address is Admiraal Verhuellplein 1, 1789 AX Huisduinen. There is parking available nearby, but please note that it may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation - Train
Take a train to Den Helder from your location. Upon arrival at Den Helder station, exit the station and head to the bus stop right outside. Take bus line 33 towards Huisduinen. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Huisduinen, Admiraal Verhuellplein'. The journey should take around 15 minutes. The bus fare is approximately €3-€5, depending on your starting point.
Public Transportation - Bus
If you are already in Den Helder, you can take bus line 33 directly to Huisduinen. Make sure to check the schedule for bus timings, as they may vary throughout the day. The bus stop you need to get off at is 'Huisduinen, Admiraal Verhuellplein', which is a short walk to Fort Kijkduin. The fare is approximately €2-€4.
Walking
If you are already in Huisduinen, Fort Kijkduin is easily accessible on foot. From the center of Huisduinen, simply walk towards the coast and follow the signs to Fort Kijkduin. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes.
