Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Egmond aan Zee. Head southeast on Zeeweg (N512) towards Egmond-Binnen. Continue on the N512 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the A9 motorway. Take the A9 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 20 kilometers, take exit 6 towards Edam/Volendam. Merge onto the N247 and follow the signs for Volendam. Once in Volendam, follow the signs to Slobbeland. The Palingsound Museum is located at Slobbeland 19, you will find parking options nearby.

To reach the Palingsound Museum via public transportation, start at the Egmond aan Zee bus station. Take bus line 165 towards Alkmaar and get off at the stop 'Volendam, Centrum'. From the bus stop, walk north towards the harbor and then turn left onto Havenweg. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Slobbeland. The museum will be on your left at Slobbeland 19. The total travel time is approximately 45 minutes.
